Delete your account in the app

1. Open Rumors.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Account.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Follow the confirmation steps.

This permanently deletes your Rumors account. It is not the same as pausing or deactivating your profile.

Request deletion from outside the app

If you no longer have the app installed, or prefer not to use it, you can request account deletion by emailing support@rumors.app from outside the app. Include the email address or phone number associated with your Rumors account so we can identify it and process your request. We may take reasonable steps to verify that the request comes from the account holder. Do not include your password or any payment information in this request.

What deletion means

Deleting your account removes your access to the Rumors account and deletes the Rumors-controlled personal information associated with it, except for information we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain for a limited period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Rumors account does not automatically cancel an active subscription with the Apple App Store or Google Play, and you do not need to cancel a subscription first — you can delete your account immediately either way. If you have an active store-managed subscription, manage or cancel it directly through Apple or Google to avoid future renewal charges. See our Subscription & Refund Policy for details.

Your Apple, Google or email account

Deleting your Rumors account only affects your Rumors account. It does not delete or affect your Apple Account, Google Account, or email account, even if you used one of these to sign in to Rumors.
